The SysAdmin of the Year program is an opportunity for business people to recognize their IT administrators by nominating them for the SysAdmin of the Year 2007.
Splunk is the sponsor of the SysAdmin of the Year program. Co-sponsors for promotional purposes include the Network and Systems Professionals Association (NaSPA), the League of Professional System Administrators (LOPSA), USENIX/SAGE, SourceForge.net and Digg.
No purchase necessary. The SysAdmin of the Year (the "Contest") program is a nomination contest. Any business professional may nominate an IT system, networking, database or other type of technical administrator. Nominators are required to submit an online nomination entry form summarizing why they believe the nominee deserves the honor of being named the Sysadmin of the Year. Submissions will be judged by a panel consisting of representatives from the sponsoring organizations and other IT professionals. This promotion is open to all U.S. and Canadian resident IT administrators currently employed as an IT administrator.
All entry information is collected in the United States. The Contest is open only to residents of the U.S. and Canada excluding Quebec due to restrictive contest laws.
Limit one entry per person. Multiple entrants from the same company may be nominated, but no more than one prize per company will be awarded.
Employees of all sponsoring organizations, anyone working directly on this program, product or promotion, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
If you have questions about the contest, please email support@splunk.com
The contest begins at 12:00 AM PST on July 25th, 2007 and will end at 11:59 PM PST on October 12, 2007.
